Photojournalism & Media

Students interested in working for magazines, newspapers or website management are introduced to the history of photojournalism with emphasis on intensive practical experience utilizing a variety of news photographer techniques. While taking the media photography class, students complete weekly assignments that cover actual campus events and activities both in still and motion images. Additionally, students are introduced to the latest versions of software used in the industry for newspaper layout and video production.
